Start with a useful brief
Customization works best when the intended use is clear. Send a drawing, reference image or sample description, along with your quantity, destination market and priorities. If the specification is still developing, identify which questions the first sample needs to answer.
Develop the product in four stages
- Define. Record the product’s use, main dimensions, construction and required documentation.
- Review. Discuss material choices, appearance, process details and the proposed supply scope.
- Sample. Evaluate the agreed reference, record changes and confirm what is approved.
- Prepare. Connect the final specification with labels, packing, inspection points and the order record.
Keep product and packaging together
Depending on the product, the brief may include sizes, finishes, connections, hardware, branding and packing. Availability is reviewed for the proposed design. Private-label artwork and assembly information should be approved alongside the item they describe.
For bamboo-powder food packaging, customization begins with product qualification. Material identity, intended conditions and supporting reports need to be reviewed before performance or environmental wording is used.
Make approval easy to follow
A confirmed sample should have a product code, revision and written requirements. Our guide to sample sign-off and bulk production explains what to record. Send a development brief and tell us what you need to resolve first.
